In the February 2014 issue of Journal of Accountancy, the article What gets monitored gets detected (p. 33) looks at continuous monitoring techniques to help prevent fraud. One of the examples looks at Dynamics GP and Business Alert functionality.
It was fun to see the Business Alert window in Exhibit 2. I still think that anything you do that is native in GP needs to be supplemented with Fastpath’s Audit Trail and Assure, but it’s nice to see GP in JofA.
