GP 2013 R2’s new requisition window added a new indicator to GP…the asterisk. GP can already highlight required transactions in bold, red or bold+red, but an asterisk is new.
In a Requisition, an asterisk is used to identify items NOT required on a Requisition, but that ARE required when transferring to a P.O. In other words, you don’t have to fill in items with an asterisk next to them, but the more you do fill out, the easier it will be to create the P.O.
