Last week we looked at how to create a refreshable Excel report using ODBC connections to Dynamics GP. This week we will look at how to make it portable.

- Open the Excel file from last week.
- Pick Data | Properties | Definition
- Click Export Connection File and save the file.

Now the Excel file and the connection file can be sent together to provide a portable Excel file with built in parameters.
