Let’s say that you’ve been told by those with golden parachutes at your company to build a dashboard of company metrics based off your Dynamics GP data. Ignoring all the other factors for a moment, (live data, data warehouse, age of data, etc.) which is better Sharepoint or Performance Point? Well [Andrew Fryer](https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/andrew/2008/09/15/dashboard-decisions-sharepoint-or-performance-point/) gives us an overview along with his thoughts and points us to a [handy comparison of Sharepoint and Performance Point](https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc811598.aspx) available on Technet.

If your upcoming project is more BI than BS, at least take a look at the comparison.
