New Article: Beginning BI with Dynamics GP

Reporting & BIGP 10

Archived post from 2008. Dynamics GP and the links it points to have changed since; check current documentation before relying on version-specific steps.

I have a new article up at MSDynamicsWorld.com and this time I take a look at how you can get a fast, simple start to Business Intelligence with GP 10, Excel 2007 and Analysis Cubes for GP.

A relatively painless start to BI makes adoption faster and builds a level of knowledge for when you are ready to move to something like Performance Point or building your own cubes rather than relying on the prebuilt Dynamics GP Cubes.

I also wanted to say congratulations to Mariano Gomez who is also doing some writing for MSDynamicsWorld and had a nice article up on maximizing your investment in Dynamic in these uncertain times. Make sure that you check out both articles.
