I don’t understand this [Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 R2 Feature of the Day: Roll Down Segment Changes](https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/gpteamblog/archive/2014/06/11/microsoft-dynamics-gp-2013-r2-feature-of-the-day-roll-down-segment-changes)

Here’s why:

1) I suggested this item via MS Connect and got a bunch of folks to vote for it.

2) It’s already in GP 2013. I showed it off at GPUG Summit 2013 in Tampa.

So while this is a feature that is present in GP 2013 R2, it’s not new with GP 2013 R2. That doesn’t make it any less cool.

Bottom line, if you use segment names to automatically name your accounts in the chart, you change a segment name and roll it down to all of the accounts to replace that value.
