[Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 Service Pack 5](https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/developingfordynamicsgp/2010/08/18/microsoft-dynamics-gp-10-0-service-pack-5/) has been released. [Developing for Dynamics GP](https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/developingfordynamicsgp/) has the announcement. This should let GP 10 companies run SQL Server 2008 R2 for  their GP installations. There are a number of important considerations with this service pack including no upgrade path to GP 2010 until GP 2010 SP 1 is released.
