It was [announced today](https://mbs.microsoft.com/Cms/Templates/document/General.aspx?NRMODE=Published&NRNODEGUID=%7B7CAFE131-F7E0-407D-A7F7-BFA2AB22AF9D%7D&NRORIGINALURL=/partnersource/newsevents/news/mdgpmda.htm&NRCACHEHINT=Guest&wa=wsignin1.0) on Partnersource that Multidimensional Analysis will not be completely absorbed by Analytical Accounting but will continue as a part Dynamics GP. Originally, MDA was going to be rolled into AA and would go away as a stand alone product, but now they’ve decided not to do that. MDA will become part of AA for licensing purposes but MDA won’t get any additional functionality. So I guess its not really new life for MDA, more like suspended animation, but hey, that’s better than death!
