# Excel Mashup Example

I pulled together this [Excel mashup](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj163261(v=office.15).aspx) example to demonstrate how the Excel mashup functionality for the web works. This is a simple HTML table that shows the North American sales of MINI automobiles. You know, [the ones that put GP on some of their cars.](/friday-fun-cars/)

I added some [basic HTML code](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj163261(v=office.15).aspx) to allow users to put some intelligence to the numbers in an online mashup. Click the Excel Interactive View link to analyze this data in the web browser. I don’t have a concrete use case for this for GP data…yet…but it’s both cool and easy.
