Everything is Changing at Once!

Archived post from 2010. Dynamics GP and the links it points to have changed since; check current documentation before relying on version-specific steps.

We knew they were going to be releasing near one another but this is ridiculous.

Dynamics GP was released to manufacturing and will be generally available May 1
Office 2010 is released to manufacturing and is available on MSDN and Technet now
PowerPivot has been released to manufacturing
SQL Server 2008 R2 has been released to manufacturing

It looks like I’ve got a bunch of install work to do after Convergence to replace all the betas on my system.

So, I have one disappointment with the release of GP 2010…it marks the end of the terrific feature of the day series on Inside Microsoft Dynamics GP.
