Steve Endow asks Dynamics GP Land: Is a Test environment required anymore for Dynamics GP upgrades?
I think the answer still depends a lot on the environment. If it’s a straight upgrade, especially if a VM rollback is available, the answer may well be no. But there are a lot of factors, not the least of which is that I’ve had people find bugs while testing upgrades where functionality they relied on no longer worked as it did previously. That’s always a fun conversation.
